Monday marked Day 4 of Jeffrey’s stomach bug and it was one crazy long and exhausting one! Needless to say we didn’t do much celebrating… just numerous trips to the bathroom and lots of laundry.

Honestly with what a hard day it was I can’t believe I accomplished so much… like this **banner…

To remind me to Cherish “This” Moment… even the sick ones… when you’re little ones curl up next to you.

They grow so fast and each experience is one we will remember and put in our memory box to look back on as some of the “good ol’ days” – and we are living them now.

I am not saying we have to enjoy our kids being sick but I tried to  be more present in my care – not thinking of all I needed to get done – just that I am a mommy and this is my boy who needs comfort in “this” moment.

Also for dinner I managed to pull off a delicious Chicken Fried Steak meal.

And to celebrate National Peach Cobbler Day… a Peach Cobbler! Caleb ran to the store for me and surprised me with some Coffee Ice Cream to cheer me up after a rough day… and to go with our dessert! Yum!
