Cinco de Mayo

Today we stopped at the library for a Cinco de Mayo book – then came home to make Pecan Polvorones.

Jack was just chillin’ around the kitchen, playing with bells, while the cookies baked.

Once the cookies were done and cooled, Jeffrey coated them in cinnamon sugar!

They were a cross between Mexican Wedding Cookies and Snickerdoodles. Yum!

Jack skipped the cookies and went for cuddles and a bottle before bed.

And since it was Chocolate Custard Day of course we had to have a little of that…
