On May 21, 2014, my wonderful Jack Valentine was born.
And now he is ONE!! His first day as a one-year-old… what a sweetie!
Jack was still fussy and sad because of teething and took an early morning nap. Meanwhile, Jeffrey played in his car…
It was a little hard to get moving on the grass…
So he switched to some bubble blowin’…
After Jack woke up – in the hopes of cheering him up on his birthday – we picked up Auntie Na…
And went out for lunch at “Jack” in the Box to get him his Munchie Meal…
He’d barely been eating solid food lately… but the fries were a different story…
Cramming them all in there…
Yum yum!!
I can’t believe I have a blue eyed boy!
And this cutie enjoying some lunch too!
Then we left for a yummy ice cream dessert. While we waited the boys watched the fish…
Taking some pictures after we ordered…
And here is our Gooey dessert…
Making progress on this huge Butterfinger Sundae! Uncle Shawn joined us for dessert too…
We also were celebrating National Waiter & Waitresses Day since we had a waitress…
In the end Jack wanted nothing to do with the ice cream but he did enjoy coloring…
And the conversation…
But he avoided pictures…
As I did with Jeffrey, for each of his birthdays, I brought Jack to the hospital at the time of his birth! It’s fun because MeMa works at the hospital so we get to visit her.
She brought us up to the Birthing Center to show the nurses Jack and Jeffrey. Funny enough one of the nurses was the woman who helped deliver ME when I was born.
They loved seeing the boys! And Jeffrey scored a donut from MeMa after eating ice cream not too long before!
After a quick stop at a friend’s house, we headed home.
